Seth Hughes

Seth is one of the original members of Southern Limits.  He is a bass guitarist, however he did not start playing guitar until after high school graduation.  Seth is a 1999 graduate of Gordon Central High School and was very involved in sports.  After graduation his high school friend Eric needed a bass player for a band he was trying to form.  Seth started taking lessons and was playing on stage at Cowboy’s for his first public performance.

Challenges have never been a problem for Seth.  His drive and determination (and a lot of prayers) were a huge factor at the early age of 9 years old.  Seth was in a near fatal car accident and doctors didn’t expect him to survive, much less have a full recovery.  He proved all the doctors wrong and has no lasting effects from the accident with the exception of the scar on his face.  Even with the scar he is still often introduced as the pretty boy of the band or the poster child.

Never one to sit around and wait for success, Seth is working on an additional career.  He is currently studying to be a certified professional trainer.  Seth has been married for three years and has a 1 year old daughter.
